DEATHTRAP: VAN HELSING

Lilou & John discuss the video game Deathtrap: Van Helsing | We learn that Lilou is not a natural born killer | We also learn why Lilou married John.

John: You have started playing a new game on Xbox One. Not really that new, but at least it’s new to us. It’s called Deathtrap: Van Helsing. It looks really nice but how do you like playing it?

Lilou: I got hooked from the start.

John: You seem to enjoy the role playing elements of the game, don’t you?

Lilou: Yes, it’s a tower defense game where you can actually develop your character. It’s very stressful sometimes, but quite addictive.

John: There are third person shooter elements in it too, am I right?

Lilou: Yeah, I thought I was gonna hate that, but actually I like that now, since you can develop those skills as well.

John: I bet you like that. You were born to improve things. I quite like the explosions and graphics. The monsters are really well made and the blood is gory. Everything dies in masses. It almost seems as if you enjoy killing things, don’t you?

Lilou: It’s not the killing I enjoy, it’s the making of a perfect strategy where everything is smooth and efficient.

John: But if you like that sort of thing, why did you marry me?

Lilou: There’s lot of improvement there. You’re my greatest piece of art, love.
